Consisting of continuous water flow channels and flood basins fed with treated water from the effluent of a waste water treatment plant, designed to study how to improve water quality in highly humanised river systems.
12 12-metre and 3 35-metre channels, each measuring 0.74 x 0.47 m
The water that flows through the channels comes from the tank which collects treated water from an effluent of a wastewater treatment plant. The inlet flow of the 12-metre channels ranges from 0.02 to 0.25 l/s and the 35-metre channels from 2 to 50 l/s.
The inlet flows of the 12-metre channels is regulated automatically from a control panel installed in the laboratory module. The flow meters are connected to a non-return valve that can make precise and simple adjustments to the flow. The control panel provides an instant reading of the inlet and outlet flow of each channel, as well as the totalisers to know the water circulation volume.

4 stainless steel flood basins (4.5 x 1.8 x 0.4 m), divided into 3 compartments (1.5 x 1.8 m each), totalling 12 experimental basins
The water that feeds the flood basins comes from a main tank that receives treated water from an effluent of the wastewater treatment plant.
Laboratory module shed (28.8 m2), air conditioned, with drinking water, electricity and table and chairs for 12 people
Equipment with a small quantity of field and laboratory equipment. Multifunctional space for gathering and processing samples, meetings and educational activities.
